Our beloved 'Original Muenchner Musikanten' band has become just as much a tradition as the fest itself! Adding to this year's always lively entertainment, we're proud to present the Inntaler Plattlergroup, a 'Schuhplattler' and 'Goaβlschnalzer' group from Germany's famous Bavaria region.

"Schuhplatting"or'Shoe Slapping',dating back more than 150 years, originally hails from Europe's alpine region as a male courtship dance. Requiring years of training and practice,dancers donned in traditional Bavarian dress, move andjump to music rhythmically striking their thighs, knees and soles of their shoes. Accompanying this lively performance will be yet another Bavarian time-honored art form of 'Goaβlschnalzen' or' whip cracking'. The 'Inntaler Plattergroup' has presented their talents on the international stage with Performance in Mexico, USA, Canada, Finland, Malaysia and Russia!
